1.Purpose
Multi-functional pump control valve is a new type of hydraulic control valve. One valve can replace electric butterfly (gate) valve, check valve and water hammer eliminator. It can automatically open slowly when the pump is opened, shut down quickly and slowly when the pump is stopped, without any electrical control and other power and manpower, and without any oil pressure device.
2.Features
(1) No operation control is required. The water pressure difference before and after the valve is used as the control power when the pump starts and stops, which has the function of automatically opening and closing with the pump.
(2) The process of valve opening and closing can effectively prevent accidents caused by the rise of water hammer pressure wave. According to field investigation and measurement, the peak pressure of water hammer during shutdown is less than 1.3 times of the working pressure.
(3) There is no need for on-site debugging, and it can be used in a wide range of working conditions.
(4) There is no need for maintenance. As one valve replaces three valves, the maintenance workload is greatly reduced.
(5) Small resistance loss. With streamlined and wide valve body design, the resistance loss is reduced by more than 50% compared with similar products abroad. For example, when DN200 products are operated at v=2m/s economic flow rate, the loss of multi-function pump control valve is 0.7m, while that of similar products abroad is 1.5m.
3.Principle
1) Before starting the pump, the pressure at the outlet of the valve acts on the main valve plate, and the valve is in the closed position. At the same time, the upper chamber of the diaphragm controller connects with the pressure water, while the lower chamber connects with the low pressure at the inlet of the valve.
2) After the start-up of the pump, the inlet pressure of the valve increases gradually, and the pressure water enters the lower chamber of the diaphragm controller slowly through the connecting pipe at the inlet end of the valve, so as to realize the slow opening of the main valve plate, and the opening speed can be adjusted by the control valve.
3) When the pump shuts down, the pressure at the valve inlet decreases. When the flow is close to zero, the main valve plate closes rapidly under its own gravity. As the pressure at the valve inlet decreases, the pressure water at the valve outlet enters the upper chamber of the diaphragm controller through the connecting pipe at the valve inlet, and the lower chamber water presses back to the valve inlet through the connecting pipe at the valve inlet. The slow closing valve plate closes slowly, and the slow closing time can be adjusted by the control valve. The quick closing of the main valve plate and the slow closing of the slow closing valve plate conform to the two-stage closing law and can effectively eliminate the water hammer.
